The Scratch program is for kids aged 7-12 to learn how to code – that is, make computer programs – using Scratch, an MIT-developed coding language that uses colour-coded blocks to create scripts.

The Coding with Scratch program here has two groups running at the same time – a Thursday group and a Friday group, with a maximum of 6 kids in each. The Fall program will run for 10 weeks, and there will be a Winter program and a Spring program, as well.

Here’s a link to the portfolio on Scratch where you can go check out what the kids have made during the Fall program: link
