Creston Valley Public Library opening to public with limited hours
Beginning Tuesday, July 7th Creston Valley Public Library will be opening its doors for browsing and borrowing of library materials. Holds can be picked up at the service desk and the bookdrop will also be open for increased hours.
Library doors will be open during the following days and times to ensure that staff have enough time for extra cleaning of our public space:
Tuesdays & Wednesdays 10am – 2pm
Thursdays & Fridays 2pm – 6pm
Our bookdrop will be open for returned materials
Tuesdays – Fridays 10am – 4pm
● Patrons will be encouraged to wear protective facemasks to enter the library and are asked to keep their visits short as building capacity will be limited to 20 visitors at a time to ensure social distancing.
● One public computer station will be available for 15 minute internet browsing sessions and printing.
● Public seating, meetings rooms, washrooms and childrens’ toys are still off-limits at this time.
We understand that many individuals and families will not be able to make it to the library at these times, so we will continue to offer doorstep delivery for library borrowers, either to their workplace or home. Library borrowers can continue to place holds on items via the library’s online catalogue at www.crestonlibrary.com, by email at email@example.com, or by phone at 250-428-4141.
The library values the safety of our community members and staff and we thank you for your patience during this trying time.
Sincerely, all of us at Creston Valley Public Library.
