Based on the novel by Stephen Chbosky. 15-year-old Charlie (Logan Lerman) is an endearing and naive outsider coping with first love (Emma Watson), the suicide of his best friend, and his own mental illness while struggling to figure out where he belongs. The introverted freshman is taken under the wings of two seniors, Sam and Patrick, who welcome him to the real world.
Movie screenings at the library are always free, and we always have free popcorn!
For this “Back to School but for Grownups” screening, folks who come in their “back to school” best (interpret this as you see fit!) will be entered in a draw for a prize!
This movie is rated PG-13, with parents strongly cautioned that it contains mature themes such as sexuality, drug & alcohol use, and fighting. This is an adult programming event.
