“I am Jim Smith, retired forester, graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in forestry in 1969. During my 40+ year career I’ve worked for government, industry and have been self employed as a consultant here in BC. ‘Gentle forest stewardship’ was the guiding principle I tried to practice.
