This is third lecture in this series commemorating the Town of Creston’s Centennial.
Dr. Louis Knafla is Professor Emeritus of History, University of Calgary, and Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, with a focus in British and Canadian legal history. In this lecture, Dr. Knafla will share from a current research project: “The Legal Culture of the Columbia-Kootenays, 1860s-1915.” Lou and his wife Maggie have lived in the Creston Valley part-time since 1998, and full-time since 2003.
