The Creston Valley Public Library has teamed up with the Yaqan Nuki Peoples’ Heritage Society to celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day with a fun opportunity to learn about traditional Ktunaxa culture and have some family-friendly fun.
Join us on Saturday, June 22nd for a fun afternoon learning about traditional Yaqan Nuki stick games and make a set to take and play at home! All supplies provided, free to participate!
Please note the location of this event: We will be set up in the main picnic pavilion nearest the washroom building at Centennial Park. No registration required. Drop in anytime, but plan to be there earlier if you would like the chance to make a playing set to take and keep – supplies provided, but in limited number.
